No Confidence For Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is suffering from a lack of confidence in front of goal, according to Ray Wilkins.
The former Paris Saint-Germain striker has not scored in six Premier League games, most recently failing to score in the goalless draw at home to Burnley on Saturday.
Manchester United have not won in four games and Wilkins believes the stalemate at Old Trafford was a setback in Jose Mourinho's pursuit of the Premier League title, with Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea all winning.

How M.i, Davido, falz, Ice Prince shut down Abuja
The music concert witnessed a premium line-up of stars that performed to the high admiration of a drenched audience at the Old Parade Ground, Garki, Abuja. Despite the downpour, the resilient crowd was determined to have an amazing night. Revelers at the Abuja concert labeled the line-up that included Davido, Darey, M.I, Ice Prince and Falz a constellation, a tag that aptly summarized the offerings for the night. Dee Jays Neptune and Big N were not left out from the line up at the concert hosted by Gbenga Adeyinka. It was definitely a remarkable concert as the best of Nigerian music boomed from the lyrical heavyweights.
Star Lager, sponsors of Star Music The Trek had promised mind-blowing performances and engaging conversations with the fans. The evening brimmed with expectations and gradually swelled into an exciting party. Davido was the headline act for the Abuja concert. The ‘bravado’ synonymous with the Omo Baba Olowocrooner was evident as he mounted the stage. True to his hype of being the archetypal rich kid, he commenced with his “Dami Duro” track-an expected introduction to the Abuja audience. For a predominantly youth crowd, the audience sang along as Davido bestrode every angle of the stage.
The Yoruba lyrics did not disturb their accompanying chants, which continued as he switched to his many popular songs. Not one to pull his punches when it came to stage delivery, he altered the music to more hard-hitting tunes such as “Skelewu” and “Owo ni Koko”. It was energy and talent rolled into one until he left the stage. Making his first appearance on Star Music The Trek was Darey whose performance closed with his now famous prayer song “Pray for Me”. This ushered in a religious ambience to the venue.
Rooney Finally Speaks On His Poor Performance And Retirement
England and Manchester captain Wayne Rooney speaks about his career following his international axing. The Three Lions captain has been out of form for both club and country following his recent performances in the Premier League and against Malta where he was booed at Wembley Stadium after a miss-hit shot.
Rooney who will turn 31 this month has also come under fire form the fans at Old Trafford and Jose Mourinho has been forced to relegate United’s second all-time to goal scorer to the bench. Rooney is England’s highest goal scorer with 53 goals since making his debut in 2004 and have just one goal to his name for both club and country in the last 12 matches. And Rooney reacted: “It is something which I have to go through. I am big enough to deal with it.” He continued: “I believe I can come back from this. I am 30 years of age.
I am not 35 or 36 where you are thinking: ‘Can you get back from it?’ I will keep working and I have said before that I will not stop playing for England and start going to Dubai for a few days in the international break.” The striker explained: “After the summer it would have been easy for me to walk away and say: ‘That’s it, I’ve had enough,’ but that’s not me. I feel I have a lot to offer and I’ve made that clear [to Southgate], certainly until the World Cup in Russia. That’s what I want. I’m not suddenly going to turn round and say: ‘I’m not playing, I’m not going to turn up.’ I will turn up when called upon and be ready.” Rooney added: “Ryan Giggs at 30 wasn’t the same player he was at 18 and he played until he was 40. There’s lots of examples out there you can use – players re-evaluate and work out the best way to move forwards.
I’m sure that will happen with me. I am not naive in terms of thinking that I am still a 20-year-old. I understand that. My game is different to that of a 20-year-old, but I also think I have qualities that can help move this team forward.” The forward stressed: “I’m not denying it’s a difficult moment but I have to show the right attitude, try to be positive and make sure I am supportive of my team-mates.”
My take on Ndigbo and Fulani herdsmen- Pete Edochie
Veteran Nollywood star, Pete Edochie shares his candid opinion about the spate of Fulani herdsmen attacks and what it means for the Ndigbo. The actor stated this in a proverbial way during an interview with Ugwumba Television. He also speaks about some other happenings in the country, particularly the decline of the speaking of the Igbo language.
About the Ndigbo, an apex Igbo socio-cultural group in Nigeria, he said, ‘The Igbos do say that Igbos don’t have kings. If you look at it you’ll see that we don’t have a king.’ ‘If all the Igbos come together and say this is where we shall stand, no president of Nigeria will turn their back on us. God supports the Igbos very well, Igbos are rich all-round the world, even in Nigeria but we haven’t shown that we love ourselves very much. If we love ourselves very much and stay together no one will defeat us.’ ‘If all the Igbos come together and say this is where we shall stand, no president of Nigeria will turn their back on us. God supports the Igbos very well, Igbos are rich all-round the world, even in Nigeria but we haven’t shown that we love ourselves very much. If we love ourselves very much and stay together no one will defeat us.’
‘I was reading a daily the other day when Fashola said by 2020 that Nigeria will be powered by coal, the coal that is in Enugu and Kogi. Why did he not come to Enugu to announce such if he really meant it? These are the things our people should be insisting on.’ About Fulani herdsmen, the legendary actor said, ‘if an innocent child is respecting you whilst you flog him, he would retaliate when you force him to a tight corner.
Difference Between Van Gaal And Jose Morinho
In an interview with El Correo, Herrera hailed Mourinho for giving the team more freedom to express themselves on the pitch, adding that the Special One has given him the chance to get forward more often. “Mourinho encourages me to do it,” Herrera said. “I scored recently in the cup and I have hit the post [against Northampton] from long-range too.
“Mourinho gives you more freedom as a player; he wants the player’s instinct to come through. It’s true that you then have to have that defensive order but he tells us to let that if that instinct guides us on the pitch then we should try things.” The 27-year old has made eight appearances in all competitions so far this season, scoring once. He stood out in United’s games against Leicester and Stoke, prompting a call up from Julen Lopetegui to the national team.
