Another bomb blast hits Maiduguri


An Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted by suspected members of dreaded Boko Haram insurgents on Sunday exploded at the popular Gamboru Market in Maiduguri metropolis living four people critically injured.

The incident which took place at about 1:30pm has caused pandemonium as people hurriedly closed their shops and flee to safety.

Gamboru market is one of the markets in the city that has witnessed series of deadly attacks by insurgents mostly suicide attacks, shootings and bombings in recent past.

This incident is coming barely 24 hours after a suicide bomber sneaked into a mosque around Maiduguri Monday Market, Ali Kotoko road during La’asar prayers and killed 26 worshippers with 28 others seriously injured.
